Larger shoulder blocks and blading in the center rib add stability and enhance steering response in the corners, as well as straight line acceleration and braking. The Fortera SL features a directional tread pattern and computer-optimized design that provides increased traction and grip on both dry and wet road surfaces. Traction on wet streets and roads is increased through the tire's staggered circumferential grooves, lateral grooves and see-through grooves along the tread.
