Goodyear's Efficient Grip Run On Flat is a grand touring Summer Tire that features temporary self-supporting run-flat mobility for a distance of 50 miles and at a speed of up to 50mph, even well after a puncture has allowed for complete air pressure loss. It is designed for Original Equipment use on many Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Maybach, and Mini vehicles and is designed to meet the requirements of many of the world's vehicles. The Efficient Grip RunOnFlat uses an optimized silica, Summer-Only tread compound that is then molded into an asymmetric tread design while delivering a quiet, smooth ride with responsive handling. Silica also works to further enhance wet traction, while four wide circumferential grooves evacuate water from the tire's footprint to improve hydroplanning resistance.
